EXPANSION PACKS
"Fantasy Zhu Xian" Expansion Pack - "Rise of the Dragons"
On May 20, 2010, the Company launched the expansion pack "Rise of the Dragons" for its 2D turn-based MMORPG "Fantasy Zhu Xian." A new system "Samsara Awakening System" has been added that allows players to experience the excitement of battles through challenging the gigantic dragon BOSS, overcoming obstacles in dungeons and using the battle mode of the "Warrior Spirits of Five Elements."
"Zhu Xian" Expansion Pack - "The New World"
On June 10, 2010, Perfect World launched the expansion pack "The New World" for its 3D MMORPG "Zhu Xian." In this expansion pack, new features were added to the game, including new classes, new storylines and maps as well as new technological applications, bringing a rich gaming experience to players.
OVERSEAS LICENSING AGREEMENTS
Licensing "Fantasy Zhu Xian" to Taiwan
In May 2010, Perfect World entered into a licensing agreement with Taiwan Index Corporation Ltd. ("TIC"), a subsidiary of famous online game company Gamania Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. ("Gamania"). Under the terms of the agreement, TIC will operate "Fantasy Zhu Xian" in Taiwan. "Fantasy Zhu Xian" is Perfect World's first 2D turn-based MMORPG. "Fantasy Zhu Xian" is based on a popular internet fantasy novel "Zhu Xian," and runs on the Company's proprietary EPARCH 2D engine, bringing entirely new gaming experiences to players.
OVERSEAS LAUNCHES
Launch of "Battle of the Immortals" in Vietnam
In May 2010, Perfect World launched its 2.5D MMORPG "Battle of the Immortals" in Vietnam through its Vietnamese partner Vina Group Corporation. "Battle of the Immortals" is Perfect World's first 2.5D mysterious adventure MMORPG and was launched in mainland China in April 2009. The game runs on Perfect World's proprietary "Cube" engine and blends content from Eastern and Western cultures.
Launch of "Zhu Xian" in the Russian Federation and Other Russian Speaking Territories
In May 2010, Perfect World launched its 3D MMORPG "Zhu Xian" in the Russian Federation and other Russian speaking territories through its partner Astrum Nival, LLC ("Astrum Nival"), a famous online game developer and operator in Russia as well as a subsidiary of Mail.Ru. "Zhu Xian" is one of Perfect World's flagship titles.
Launch of "Zhu Xian" in Korea
In June 2010, Perfect World launched its 3D MMORPG "Zhu Xian" in Korea through its Korean partner CJ Internet Corporation, following their previous cooperation to launch "Perfect World II" in Korea.
