AT&T Strengthens Mobile Coverage in Hogansburg
New Cell Site Activated as Part of Ongoing AT&T Investment in Local Wireless Network
HOGANSBURG, N.Y., June 16 -- As part of its continuing network investment to support growing demand for advanced mobile devices and applications, AT&T* today announced the activation of a new cell site in Franklin County. The new site, which is located in Hogansburg in the western area of the St. Regis Mohawk Indian Reservation, will enhance wireless coverage for area residents and businesses along Route 37 between Fort Covington and Massena. AT&T customers should also notice new wireless coverage along the St. Lawrence Seaway and at the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino.
The new cell site is part of AT&T's ongoing effort to drive innovation and extend its mobile network. It is also part of AT&T's ongoing investment to build the broadband networks that will fuel economic growth and create jobs, and enable its customers to quickly access the content, applications and services that matter most to them.
