SGN's EXO-Planet Elite Connects iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch Gamers
3-D Third-Person Shooter Game Enables Gameplay across Multiple Platforms
PALO ALTO, Calif., June 18 -- SGN today announced the availability of 3-D shooter game EXO-Planet Elite for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. EXO-Planet Elite now enables players to challenge friends and fellow gamers to high-action gameplay across multiple platforms. The third-person shooter game enables players to compete in live, zero-gravity combat on two unique space stations, affixing themselves to the walls and ceilings of magnetically-charged platforms. Players can choose to compete in one of two modes. In "Capture the Flag" mode users storm enemy territory to bring home the flag; in "Death Match" mode the goal is simply to obliterate one's opponents. SGN has provided an elegant technological solution to the challenge of movement and perspective in a zero-gravity environment.
"With EXO-Planet, gamers have the opportunity to challenge and play with friends and fellow gamers across multiple platforms -- whether they are in the same room or in different countries," said Shervin Pishevar, founder and executive chairman of SGN. "Adrenaline junkies can experience the excitement of zero gravity whether using their iPad, iPhone or iPod touch."
Every EXO-Planet Elite player is equipped with an armored EXO-Suit and a lethal LX-Automatic weapon. As users play, they'll earn in-game currency, called Scrip, which can then be used to upgrade their EXO-Suit and purchase additional weapons. As a player's experience grows, he or she will be able to level up and unlock additional weapons including the EM-Blaster, the PA-Cannon and the ultra-precise CL-Pulse Rifle, which comes with a high-powered scope.
SGN's EXO-Planet Elite is available for $4.99 for the iPhone and $6.99 for the iPad from the App Store or at http://www.itunes.com/appstore/.
