Leave Your Office Without Leaving Your Business Behind

DUBAI, UAE, June 28, 2010--     What do mobile workers need most importantly? To answer this question,
they need easy access to true mobile broadband anytime, anywhere.

Mobile Working Is Getting More Popular

Today's businesses are increasingly working outside the office. According
to a forecast by analyst firm IDC, there will be more than a billion mobile
workers worldwide by the end of the year, and by 2013, more than a third of
the world's population will have a mobile job. That's 1.2 billion people!

If you are one of the mobile workers, or your business takes you out and
about, you need to know about this great tool that allows you to easily keep
connected to the Internet, check your emails and maintain your productivity.

    Mobility Increases Productivity

Being out of the office doesn't mean you have to risk leaving your
business behind, because you are out of touch. For the mobile workforce, like
mobile sales teams, consultant groups, business travelers or even those in
search of Wi-Fi hot spots while on the go, the D-Link's DIR-457U 3.75G HSUPA
Pocket Router may be just what users have been waiting for.

The pocket-sized device acts as either a Wi-Fi router or 3.75G modem with
the flip of a switch. Since the device seamlessly switches between 3G and
Wi-Fi, you don't need to hunt for a Wi-Fi hotspot when you are outside - but
you can always stay connected. While traveling somewhere out of a Wi-Fi
connection or in a moving vehicle, the DIR-457U's 3G function allows you to
stay online with high-speed connectivity. With mobile broadband access, you
can work on your own schedule, wherever and whenever you want. You don't have
to rush to the office to send your quotation or search for a file. Instead,
you can fire off emails on a smart phone, receive and send quotes on the go,
eliminate unproductive time when travelling by train and even do your
personal banking.

Simultaneous, Multiple Internet Connection and Data Sharing

The DIR-457U allows for simultaneous, multiple Internet connections.
Simply insert the UMTS/HSUPA SIM card and up to 16 users and clients, like
smart phones or notebooks can share the 3.75G Internet connection through a
secure 802.11g wireless network. Thus, a group of mobile co-workers doesn't
need to waste time to wait for the Internet connection nor do they need to
pay extra Internet bills while out of the office.

In addition to that, you could download music from iTunes onto the iPod
Touch while you are checking emails on a laptop.

The DIR-457U can even act as a NAS (Network Attached Storage) to enable a
mobile group to share data efficiently. There is a built-in microSD card slot
so you can use a memory card of up to 32GB to conveniently share files
between Wi-Fi enabled devices.

    Get Real Mobility

The slim, pocket-sized device is equipped with a built-in 3G SIM card and
a rechargeable battery that's neater and easier to use. The rechargeable
battery-powered router allows for true mobility without the cumbersome cable.
Of course, if you wish so, you could also choose to power it by connecting to
the PC USB port or normal electricity. The three types of power options offer
mobile workers plenty of flexibility. It's small enough to fit in your
pocket, so Internet can go wherever you go.

Like other 3.5G devices, the DIR-457U gets Internet access through the 3G
network of a mobile operator. The difference between common 3.5G devices and
the DIR-457U is that the DIR-457U is compatible with a wide range of mobile
service networks, so you are not bound to a specific carrier. This feature
gives business travelers the real freedom of mobility while travelling to
different countries.

With D-Link's mobility solution, you can focus on taking care of your
business instead of leaving your business behind.
