Largest Catholic dating site continues strong growth
PITTSBURGH, July 1 -- CatholicMatch.com, the largest provider of online dating for Catholics, has acquired the assets of TraditionalSingleCatholics.com. The integration of the niche site is effective today.

The acquisition brings CatholicMatch another wave of expansion in a year of record growth. "Organic growth in 2010 has been very strong," said Co-Founder Brian Barcaro. "The recession has not deterred Catholics searching for a mate and may have increased it. The sex abuse crisis roiling the church has not deterred Catholics from seeking like-minded, faith-filled spouses. They have even more to discuss in our community forums and seem more committed than ever to help the Church and their fellow man. TraditionalSingleCatholics.com was launched four and a half years ago to serve single Catholics with specific needs and preferences.
