Tiffen Updates Photo fx Ultra Application on Apple® iPad to Increase Resolution for Greater Image Quality

Photo fx Ultra Is Now #3 Photo App for Apple iPad

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., July 2 -- The Tiffen Company, a leading manufacturer of award winning accessories for the still imaging, motion picture and broadcast markets, announced an update to their new app for the Apple iPad, Photo fx Ultra, a photo enhancement software application for the Apple iPad.  The update increases file resolution from 2048 pixels to 3072 x 3072 pixels for even greater image quality.  "We're delighted that our Photo fx Ultra has been so well received and is now ranked the #3 Photography app for the Apple iPad and has a 4-1/2 star out of 5 rating," said Hilary Araujo, vice president of marketing at The Tiffen Company.

Photo fx Ultra is similar in content to Photo fx for the iPhone but the user interface has been modified to take advantage of the increased screen space. There is a new Color Correct filter, more presets, search capability and compatibility* with Tiffen's Dfx Digital Filter Suite that runs as a standalone application or plug-in for Adobe Photoshop an Apple Aperture.
