Web Based Access via ANDEK's Unified Communications Solutions
MUNICH and HALLBERGMOOS, Germany, July 6, 2010-- All business communication applications of the unified communications
specialist ANDTEK GmbH are also available for iPad users. Call center
supervisors, for example, can control IP phones mobile via iPad, can have
access to corporate directories and are informed about the status of all
agents at any time.
In the past users of ANDTEK's unified communications solutions (UC) could
employ their iPhones, Android smartphones or notebooks do business
communication with the corporate network via web browser.
With the recently launched iPad it is now also possible to use enterprise
applications completely location-independent and time-independent.
Using the iPad and ANDTEK's UC solutions an unlimited number of staff
members has access to e.g. address and telephone books, customer contacts,
corporate directories or CRM databases via an integrated intuitively operated
web surface. It is not necessary to install the corporate applications on the
iPad. Moreover, users have always access to the call list within the company.
A central administration being integrated into the UC solution allows user
administration and a detailed access control.
Call center supervisors can not only control all IP phones via iPad but
they can also find out within seconds which colleague is available (presence
function). It is possible to block any person via server so that this
function can only be used by certain users.
Beside the status of all agents the supervisor has also the opportunity
to obtain further important information via iPad like e.g. information about
queues, service levels or statistic data (e.g. ratio of accepted/lost calls
etc.)
