NTT Europe Achieves PCI DSS Compliance
LONDON, July 12, 2010-- NTT Europe (http://www.eu.ntt.com/en/index.html), an ICT

today announces its web hosting services have been officially verified by IRM
Plc as being compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards
(PCI DSS).
The verification of PCI DSS compliance complements NTT
Europe's ISO27001
(http://www.eu.ntt.com/en/our-global-strengths/iso-27001.html) certification
for information security management, further reassuring existing and
potential customers of NTT Europe's commitment to the security and
confidentiality of sensitive data. NTT Europe intends to provide further
security consultation services around PCI to customers following NTT Coms'

The PCI DSS, a set of comprehensive requirements for enhancing
payment account data security, was developed by the founding payment brands
of the PCI Security Standards Council, including MasterCard Worldwide

American Express, Discover Financial Services and JCB International.
In order to gain compliance, NTT Europe has undergone a
comprehensive audit of the hardware, software, network architecture,
information management policies and other critical security measures that are
used within its data centres. The accreditation from the PCI Security
Standards Council provides official recognition of the security of the
systems used to process card payments data within NTT Europe's network of
