'THE HILLS' STAR LO BOSWORTH LAUNCHES THELODOWN.COM
LOS ANGELES, July 13 -- "THE HILLS" Star Lo Bosworth has announced that she is launching her own digital media company, THELODOWN.COM which is live today. She has teamed up with SiteCanvas to create a one-of-a-kind digital site.
TheLoDown is a guide to fashion, relationships, the good life and everything in between. Whether it's tackling your first date, decorating your new apartment, or advice about the best fashion buys and hippest hot spots, Lo's team will share advice straight from their own personal experiences, answer reader questions and much more. Published daily, TheLoDown features five categories: Relationships, Health and Fitness, Style, Beauty, and Life.
The site gives readers the ability to ask questions, which will be answered by Lo and her team in website postings. "I'm thrilled to get to know my audience on an entirely new level with TheLoDown," says Lo. "We are creating a community and giving the users the power to drive conversation and interact with one another."
About Lo Bosworth
Born and raised in Laguna Beach, California, Lauren "Lo" Bosworth grew up in the public eye as one of the stars of MTV's LAGUNA BEACH. After two seasons, she left the show to attend UCLA, where she earned a B.A. in Art History. Following her graduation in 2008, Lo appeared on the LAGUNA BEACH spinoff THE HILLS, where she quickly became a rising reality star. THE HILLS is currently in its sixth season, is the number one show on MTV, and rates as one of the top shows across all cable networks. The series finale will air Tuesday, July 13th. Lo has appeared in Seventeen Magazine, Glamour, US Weekly, In Touch Weekly, OK! Magazine, Life & Style and Orange Coast Magazine, among others.
Lo actively supports a number of literacy organizations including Read Across America, Jumpstart, and Project Read for HOPE, and she recently signed on as an education ambassador for "Get Schooled," an education initiative founded by Viacom and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
