SteelCloud Selects VertiGO to Capitalize on DoD Opportunities
Partnership to Launch its STIG-compliant SteelWorks FedMobile Appliance
ASHBURN, Va., July 22 -- SteelCloud, Inc. , a leading developer of mobility computing appliance and software solutions, today announced that it had selected VertiGO Solutions as a public sector channel partner to market its recently announced STIG-compliant SteelWorks® FedMobile(TM) appliance for BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.
SteelWorks FedMobile enables virtually any size group in the Department of Defense to quickly, easily and cost effectively implement BlackBerry Enterprise Server. SteelWorks FedMobile delivers a complete, optimized, ready to deploy hardware/software solution that includes a hardened version of Microsoft® Windows Server, BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5, and SteelCloud's innovative EverAvail(TM) software suite for patch management, back-up, and disaster recovery. SteelWorks FedMobile is designed to support both new installations of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5, as well as migrations from previous versions.
"Marketing SteelWorks FedMobile to DoD customers represents the largest single business opportunity for SteelCloud," said Brian Hajost, SteelCloud President and CEO. "We are confident that VertiGO's mobility experience and customer access will significantly enhance our ability to reach this important public sector customer segment. We could not have asked for a partner that better understands the unique needs of the government mobility customer."
"We are delighted to partner with SteelCloud in this important market," said Jennifer Svensson, VertiGO Solutions CEO. "By aligning with Best-of-Breed companies like Carahsoft Technology and SteelCloud, along with our mobility experience, I am confident that we will become the 'go to' supplier of mobility solutions to the DoD. We are ramping up SteelWorks activities now in anticipation of a strong federal year-end in September."
"As VertiGO's master government aggregator, we look forward to bringing the combined SteelCloud-VertiGO appliance to the public sector marketplace and our reseller partners," said Craig P.
