Manhattan's Physicians Group Selects ITelagen for Hosting and Management of EHR
Solution utilized to manage patient records of more than 80,000 patients in NYC
NEW YORK, Aug. 3 -- ITelagen, a leading provider of electronic health record (EHR) hosting and management announced that it was selected by Manhattan's Physician Group (MPG) to host, support and manage EHR for their medical practice. The newly provided solution includes hosting of patient data in ITelagen's SAS-70 Type II certified datacenter and an extension of ITelagen's support agreement that provides unlimited IT support for staff members.
As a result, the over 80,000 MPG patients are benefiting from physicians that have seamless, real-time access to the patient's full medical record, regardless of which MPG location they're visiting. Continuity of care is ensured, safety is improved and the patient experience is significantly enhanced. Likewise, MPG physicians have the most up-to-date and complete information necessary to better assess past medical histories and make the most informed treatment decisions possible.
