GenosTV, the World's First Virtual Cable Television Provider is Seeking Beta Testers to Ensure Its Service and Functionality Sets a New Standard for Cable TV Worldwide

- GenosTV is a Virtual Television Service That Will Be Made Available On IP Connected Televisions, Set Top Boxes, Cell Phones and Other IPTV Service Offerings - Distribution Partners and Television Manufacturers Receive Monthly Revenues By Partnering with GenosTV - Beta Testers are Needed Worldwide

LAS VEGAS, Aug. 9 -- Today, GenosTV announces that it is seeking beta testers to ensure its service exceeds consumers' expectations for the next generation cable television service.  Interested parties are encouraged to email all of their contact information, prior relevant experience and why they should be chosen to be part of the Genos Team, to betatesters@genos.tv.

The company announces that there will be no GenosTV Cable Box needed for its service.  The Cable Television service is VIRTUAL and will merely be a "Button" on the user interfaces of IP Connected Televisions Sets, Blue Ray Players, Cell Phones, and other IPTV services.  Pandora, internet radio, is a great example of this distribution strategy. Television manufacturers can finally realize revenue beyond the markup they receive on their hardware sales and turn their TV into a recurring revenue stream by partnering with GenosTV.  The same is true for other internet enabled consumer electronic devices.  The Company is forming relationships and is seeking agreements with distribution partners worldwide.  This new strategy allows consumers to switch to Genos Cable TV without any upfront fees or new equipment and it gives Genos the distribution necessary to offer cable networks millions of new customers as we can reach "Off Net' consumers in rural areas and offer limited  television services for under $10.00.

"GenosTV is the most disruptive business model in history," said Rob Shambro, the company's Chairman and CEO.  "When researchers and analysts fully evaluate the impact of GenosTV on the consumers, how TVME gives everyone a stage, how the existing networks who have never had to market themselves have to change to survive, how  the cable companies are going to have to change because consumers finally have a television provider alternative, cross pollination of international cable networks, new jobs and industries created and the effect on global advertising, they will see the massive impact that Genos has on media worldwide.  No one will ever admit it but Genos has already effected every corner of the cable television industry and has saved consumers millions of dollars.  Our business model and January launch date has caused many companies to go back to the drawing board.  Customers have been unhappy for so long and the first chance they get to switch to a solid alternative, they will," said Shambro. "Remember when Orbitz and Travelocity eliminated the travel agent? That was nothing compared to the effect of GenosTV on the media sector."

Marc Diego, VP Corporate Development, a former graduate of UCLA is spear heading a prelaunch of the service at the UCLA campus along with managing the collegiate marketing teams nationwide.  GenosTV is accepting applications for campus representatives across the country.  Interested parties can submit their resume to jobs@genos.tv.  GenosTV will launch its service at the Consumer Electronics Show, Jan. 6-9, 2011 in Las Vegas.

About Genos(TM)

Genos(TM) is a subsidiary of the ShambroWest Corporation, with offices in Las Vegas and Amsterdam. It was founded by Rob Shambro, Serial Entrepreneur and founder of SAVVIS, STREAMSEARCH and ILABS, Mike West, subject matter expert in consumer electronics and former technical leader at IBM, and Kevin Bachus, creator of the Microsoft XBOX.

GenosTV will create the world's first, broadband pay television network that allows consumers to purchase the television channels that they want to watch rather than arbitrary bundles of channels in which they have no interest.  This has the potential to save every GenosTV customer up to 70% in comparison to their previous cable or satellite bill. The patent-pending television service will be delivered to any Internet-connected device, including the latest generation of Internet-connected televisions and wireless Blu-Ray players. Provided as a subscription service that can be accessed on personal computers, mobile devices and Internet-connected consumer electronic devices, GenosTV will be the first and only linear television service to take advantage of the growing installed base of platforms capable of running TV applications. Just as Vonage transformed the market for telephone services overnight by providing a service on top of existing consumer data connections, GenosTV intends to transform the market for television services.

By using a direct sell-through approach of delivering content from producer to consumer, GenosTV will, for the first time, bring a "supermarket model" to television subscription, with "on-the-shelf" content delivered at fair market price. Currently consumers are forced to purchase packages of content - from a single provider or an aggregate of many providers. On GenosTV, channels will be offered à la carte to subscribers (who can create their own custom line-up). For the first time, television networks will set the price for their content and consumers will subscribe to only those channels they actually want - leading potentially to impulse purchasing behaviors as consumers add channels to their line-up directly through the GenosTV interface.

Through this expanded, direct and monetizable relationship with the subscriber a better relationship and access to existing viewers of content will develop. This will enable access to potential customers that the content has never been able to reach before. Furthermore, the television networks can incentivize consumers to take multiple channels from the same provider by offering optional discounted bundles or premium pricing for longer-term subscription commitments The company announces that there will be no GenosTV Cable Box needed for its service.

Television unleashed.
