Meridian's Launch of its Revolutionary New Web-based Healthcare Reporting System at HFMA is the 'Hit' of the Conference
Meridian Announces First Major Contract with AMG Integrated Healthcare Management in Lafayette, LA
DALLAS, Aug. 16 -- Meridian Healthcare Intelligence, a Dallas-based software company, has launched the first web-based, user-friendly hospital reporting system that will interface with any healthcare provider's current financial operating system. Meridian's system extracts patient data to create detailed, real time financial and clinical reports. Meridian's software was the "hit" new product at the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Conference in Las Vegas last month.
Meridian CEO, Chris LeBlanc, describes the software as, "a breakthrough new product for hospital managers. We were thrilled by the enthusiastic reception we received at the HFMA conference. Meridian's software is easy to use, completely automated, requires no hardware or additional personnel, and it provides managers with a detailed financial picture in real-time. It will improve operating margins and prevent wasteful spending on a daily basis. It's the first tool that allows hospital administrators to manage their business proactively rather than reactively," said LeBlanc.
AMG Integrated Healthcare Management in Lafayette, LA tested Meridian's software and became Meridian's first major hospital system contract. AMG Integrated Healthcare Management, a nine-hospital system that owns and operates long term acute care and physical rehabilitation hospitals throughout Louisiana and Mississippi is using the web-based software to enthusiastic reviews.
AMG's chief operating officer August J. Rantz, IV, declared, "This is the best financial reporting software that I've ever seen. It has two very big advantages: first, it's compatible with our operating system and second, it allows us to look at our operations in a way that we've never been able to before, real time. We can see a detailed breakdown of our actual patient costs by department by patient every day. This product is going to change the way we manage our cost of care, employees and physicians."
