Advanced Micro Devices will introduce a set of notebooks from the ultra-small to full size machines using future 130 and 90 nanometer designs, it said today. But it claims it doesn't need to design a processor "from the ground up" like Intel is doing with its Banias design next year because it is ahead of its much larger competitor in technology.
