Owned by Frogpad, Inc., the lot includes two US and three foreign counterparts which have been cited by Samsung, Intel, Microsoft, Nokia, and Research in Motion.

Capitalizing on the estimated $3.6 billion dollar global market for touch screen panels(1), the assets of this lot disclose technology covering a multi-touch user interface and data entry via a keyboard layout for a one-handed keypad which can be downloaded onto a device with a multi-touch screen. The IP may limit other data entry systems on multi-touch applications using more than one touch simultaneously.
As many touch screen enabled devices are limited by their size, the use of a touch screen version of a traditional QWERTY keyboard is considered by many to be inefficient and problematic.
