MetroPCS Goes Live with Bridgewater for 4G LTE
First Commercial 4G LTE Deployment in North America
CHICAGO, Oct. 18 /PRNewswire/ - Bridgewater Systems (TSX: BWC), the mobile
personalization company, today announced that MetroPCS Communications
Inc. has launched the Bridgewater(R) Home Subscriber Server (HSS) and
Policy Controller (PCRF) to deliver 4G LTE services.

services such as high-speed video, multimedia and social networking
with recent network launches in Las Vegas and Dallas/Fort Worth
markets.
-- Bridgewater is supplying its independent, high performance control plane
to manage mobile data traffic, subscribers, devices and applications
and personalize services for MetroPCS' 4G LTE network. This includes:
-- The Bridgewater Policy Controller, which supports 3GPP PCRF Release
7, 8 and 9 standards on the same platform, provides real-time
network, application, and subscriber policies to manage mobile data
growth and deliver personalized services; and
-- The Bridgewater Home Subscriber Server, a master repository that
contains subscriber and device profile and state information, and
manages subscriber identities, service profiles, authentication,
