(Celtic) today announced the launch of its new, secure website http://www.MyHealthyTexas.com to provide Texas small businesses with online rate quotes for Celtic's HealthyTexas benefit plans which offer reduced premiums to eligible employer groups with 2 - 50 employees. Employers or agents can obtain a free rate online quote in a matter of minutes and then have the option to download the application or simply complete it online.
MyHealthyTexas.com also provides convenient access to other valuable resources such as the HealthyTexas eligibility guidelines, downloadable benefit summaries, provider directories, and an online tutorial to educate employers about Celtic and the advantages of the HealthyTexas program.

HealthyTexas, a statewide public/private partnership established by the Texas 81st Legislature, provides a new health insurance option for small employers in Texas. Texas Department of Insurance is the state agency responsible for implementing and administering HealthyTexas. Requirements for small business owners to participate in HealthyTexas include:

-- At least 30% of employees must receive annual wages at or below $32,490;
