Sittercity Acquires One of the Largest Websites in the In-Home Care Industry
CHICAGO, Nov. 18, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Sittercity.com, America's largest and most trusted website for connecting families with local, quality in-home caregivers, today announced the acquisition of the Sitters.com website. Sitters.com is the third-largest in-home care website and has developed a significant sitter and parent network throughout its almost 10 year history. This acquisition will expand Sittercity's current database of close to 2 million users, further solidifying the company's dominance in the online in-home care industry.
Sittercity.com, headquartered in Chicago, is the market leader in helping people in need find experienced babysitters, nannies, pet sitters, dog walkers, housekeepers and tutors nationwide. Care seekers can join on their own or through the Sittercity Corporate Program, which is offered through corporations as an employee benefit.
