Whether Citrus, Cranberry Cherry or Mint, New Flavor Will Be Determined by Malibu's Online Community
NEW YORK, Dec. 1, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- December is the month to "Get Your Island On" as Citrus, Cranberry Cherry and Mint all vie to become the newest addition to Malibu's vibrant flavor portfolio in the "Malibu U Choose" sweepstakes. Starting today, fans can go to Malibu's Facebook page or send a text message to vote for one of three delicious and distinctive flavors as Malibu's newest expression. Each vote automatically gives participants a chance to win cool daily prizes, as well as one (1) $1,000 grand prize to kick-off the New Year.
Between now and the sweepstakes' end on December 31, voters aged 21 and older can visit Facebook.com/malibu.rum to select their favorite Malibu flavor. The winning flavor will be announced the week of January 3, 2011, and will be available for purchase beginning in May 2011. "We're leaving it in the hands of Malibu fans to choose our newest flavor--all three options are refreshing, easy to mix, and versatile," said Sheila Senhouse, Brand Manager for Malibu at Pernod Ricard USA.
