LiveViewGPS Announces New Android Application for GPS Tracking System
VALENCIA, Calif., Jan. 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- LiveViewGPS, a leading GPS tracking company, is pleased to announce their new Android phone application, which allows LiveViewGPS users who own LiveTrac series GPS trackers to track their devices in real time from their Droid mobile phone.
Using the Droid GPS car tracking app, users can keep tabs on their automobiles, important assets such as watches or laptops, and even children, teens and elderly relatives - all from the screens of their Droid phones. The new application works with all LiveTrac series GPS systems, including LiveTrac PT-10 GPS Tracker, LiveTrac PT-10, Professional GPS Tracker, LiveTrac RTV5 Vehicle Tracker and LiveTrac RTV10 Nav Tracker.

The new Droid GPS tracking application includes the standard features of the LiveViewGPS web-based software, as well as additional real-time fleet tracking capabilities. This technology offers the ability to track multiple GPS systems, so employers can monitor all company vehicles, including the speed and route of each vehicle, when employees arrive at a jobsite or delivery location, what time employees start and end their driving shifts, how long they took for lunch, or how long they were stopped at a particular location.
For personal vehicle tracking use, users will be able to view their equipment's exact location as well as see their vehicle's speed and direction of travel - a great feature for parents of teen drivers. Additionally, users of the Android GPS tracking app who have the RTV5 installed with optional relays will be able to disable their vehicles starter, remotely start their vehicles, and lock and unlock their vehicles doors via their Droid phone.
