Experian Automotive Launches AutoCheck® Mobile for Business(SM)
Mobile application for smartphones provides dealers with timely, convenient access to vehicle history reports
SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Jan. 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Experian Automotive today announced it has launched AutoCheck® Mobile for Business(SM), providing automotive retailers with more timely and convenient access to AutoCheck® vehicle history reports directly from iPhone and Android devices. The application will allow automotive retailers to more quickly evaluate the history and condition of vehicles that they review at auctions or as customer trade-ins.
"AutoCheck Mobile for Business is one more way we can support automotive retailers by providing quick and convenient access to all the important vehicle history information included in AutoCheck," said Scott Waldron, president of Experian Automotive. The application can be downloaded at no cost to current AutoCheck business clients using the online app stores for iPhone and Android mobile devices. After downloading and launching the application, AutoCheck business clients simply log in using their existing client ID and password. They then can enter a vehicle identification number (VIN) to request a report, review their vehicle report history and email customer service.
AutoCheck vehicle history reports help automotive retailers and consumers quickly and easily understand a vehicle's past, including reported accidents, odometer issues, title brands, frame-damage announcements and other important information that will help buyers make a confident used vehicle purchase.
