Peach New Media Announces Partnership with Higher Logic to Provide Virtual Study Groups(TM) and Mobile Study Groups(TM)
ATLANTA, Feb. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Peach New Media, Inc. today announces a partnership with Higher Logic to provide two new product offerings for professional associations and continuing educators called Virtual Study Groups(TM) and Mobile Study Groups(TM). Virtual Study Groups (VSG) combine the powerful media of live webinars and webcasts with the collaborative aspects of online communities. This combination enables associations to deepen their educational efforts through longer-term study groups and courses and takes them beyond the 60-minute webinar.
"Most of our clients who are using VSGs are offering 4 to 6 week courses, charging anywhere from $99 to $900 and including a variety of media: such as weekly study group webinars, assigned on-demand videos, requirements to post in eGroup Message boards, and even weekly quizzes and tests to pass," says Peach COO, Johnson Cook.
