John Kasich's (R-Ohio) is meeting fierce opposition online, where "Angry Buckeyes" are taking on the governor for his attacks on working nurses, firefighters, cops and other hardworking Ohioans. "Angry Buckeyes," the first U.S. multimedia political parody inspired by the popular mobile game, "Angry Birds," was produced by America Votes Ohio.
The multimedia "Angry Buckeyes" campaign has people in Ohio signing up to fight back against Gov. Kasich's cuts. The effort lives on the microsite http://angrybuckeyes.com, complete with Facebook, Twitter, text message and email components. The video parody has slingshots to save nurses, police officers and fire fighters from "King Kasich" by firing angry Buckeyes within various structures, with the intent of saving public employees on the playing field.
