Novatel Wireless and Numerex Sign Agreement to Collaborate on Solutions Incorporating Enfora Smart Devices
SAN DIEGO and ATLANTA, March 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Novatel Wireless, Inc. (Nasdaq: NVTL), a leading provider of intelligent wireless networking solutions and Numerex Corp (Nasdaq: NMRX), a leading single source provider of secure machine-to-machine (M2M) products and services, today announced an agreement to offer state-of-the-art, easy-to-use smart M2M solutions; bundling Numerex service platforms with Novatel Wireless Enfora smart devices.
Numerex network services and applications platform technologies will be bundled with Enfora smart solutions such as the recently announced Spider® AT and Spider® MT 2500 solutions for use in several M2M implementations. Novatel Wireless' leadership in broadband mobile solutions including expertise in advanced wireless technology standards are expected to expand the range of capabilities used by both companies in serving their M2M customers.
