AUSTIN, Texas, April 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- BuildASign.com(TM) announces the acquisition of Carwrap.com, a vehicle graphics company that caters primarily to multi-location franchise companies and large fleets.
"Acquiring Carwrap.com allows us to add to our customer base and expand our web presence in the wrap industry," said Andy Knopp, Director of Corporate Development at BuildASign.com(TM). All of the employees at Carwrap.com, also known as Impressions On The Go, have been retained by BuildASign.com(TM). They will help to integrate production and design work with that of BuildASign.com(TM) and continue to grow the loyal customer base built over CarWrap.com's seven years in business. A "wrap" is an adhesive vinyl that completely or partially covers any type of vehicle with a design, usually an advertisement for a business like a maid service, radio station, or real estate company.
BuildASign.com(TM) has acquired several companies over the past two years and is currently seeking out and evaluating several more deals in 2011. The e-retailer is looking at related companies with revenues between $100,000 and $5,000,000 annually.
