C-MAP MAX charts let anglers spend less time looking and more time fishing
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., May 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Navigation expert Jeppesen has added detailed fishing information to its spring 2011 update of C-MAP MAX charts for North American boaters. More than 3,000 artificial reefs throughout the continental United States and Hawaii have been added, including important information such as size, depth, age and composition. 1,800 of these reefs are in Florida waters alone. Over 2,000 fishing hot spots are included in the new MAX card update.
"Having detailed information about reefs and other prime fishing locations in MAX cartridges gives our customers a distinct advantage. It's something no one else includes in their electronic charts," says Ken Cirillo, business development executive. 'We've collected, updated and verified this information as part of our expanding library of value-added data and are now making it available to our MAX customers."
Size and catch limits illustrated
"In addition to the fishing hot spots, we've also added 2011 rules, regulations and catch limits for each coastal state," adds Cirillo. "This information, which also includes fish photos and images is easily accessible and is a great resource to both novice anglers as well as experienced fishermen."
The spring update for both MAX and NT+ also includes hundreds of Notice to Mariners updates and new chart additions, plus updated and detailed marina charts for each cartridge.
