ANADIGICS' New Wireless Infrastructure Power Amplifier Provides Unique Combination of Output Power, Efficiency, and Linearity for Microcells, Picocells, and Femtocells

(Nasdaq: ANAD), a world leader in radio frequency (RF) and mixed signal semiconductor solutions, today introduced the AWB7223 small-cell power amplifier (PA). The AWB7223 expands ANADIGICS' portfolio of wireless infrastructure power amplifiers optimized for small-cell base station applications, including microcells, picocells and femtocells. A recent report from Mobile Experts forecasts shipments of such equipment to grow from 2.6 million devices this year to over 20 million in 2014, emphasizing the need for small-cell solutions to support the growing capacity requirements of mobile broadband networks.
