Ensures Trademark Validation Success in .xxx Top-Level Domain

Trademark Fact Check will increase efficiency and save money for trademark owners protecting their brands by registering a .xxx domain or blocking their mark in the domain.
Trademark Fact Check provides automated fact-checking technology that mirrors the validation checks performed for the .xxx sunrise. It determines eligibility and detects conflicts between government trademark offices and .xxx sunrise applications before fees are incurred. The service can be used for both .xxx sunrise periods.
Historically, sunrise periods have been expensive for trademark owners. After ten years of launching new top-level extensions, the trademark validation process performed by domain registries is still a manual fact-checking operation that is inefficient and subjective. In addition, errors are often made during the submission process, driving up costs for registries, registrars and trademark owners. Brand owners will be paying between $200 to $600 per .xxx sunrise application, but there is no ability for an applicant to make corrections without paying an additional application fee.

Output of the tool includes the source trademark record that was checked and an explanation why the application failed the validation check. Special characters in the trademark are also converted to confirm eligible domain names for the trademark.
