AT&T Celebrates Opening of New High Tech Store in Northwest Columbus/Hilliard Area

COLUMBUS, Ohio, July 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T* today announced the opening of a high-tech retail store in northwest Columbus. The store offers a unique way for customers to interact with and shop for a wide array of communications and entertainment services including a hands-on demonstration area to engage customers and provide a "try before you buy" service experience.
"This new AT&T store is a welcome addition to northwest Columbus and the Hilliard area and brings even more options for consumers," said State Senator Jim Hughes. "AT&T's investment in opening new wireless stores will continue central Ohio's reputation as a strong location for business."
The new store showcases a wide range of home and wireless solutions, including industry-leading smartphones and popular AT&T netbooks. Shoppers can also explore AT&T U-verse services, including AT&T U-verse TV, AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet and AT&T U-verse Voice.
"AT&T's investment in our community, demonstrated by opening a new retail store, builds on our reputation as a strong region for business investment," said State Representative Cheryl Grossman.

The new store is located at 1545 Hilliard Rome Road and is led by industry veteran Tisha Miller. Miller and her team of knowledgeable sales consultants are ready to assist customers -- both business and consumer -- with purchasing decisions and technical support. The store is open Monday through Saturday 11:00am to 8:00pm and Sunday 11:00am to 6:00pm.
In addition to this new store AT&T recently relocated one of its Columbus area stores to an expanded newer format store at 1589 North High Street. To build upon this investment in the local retail community, AT&T has invested more than $160 million in its Columbus area wireless and wireline networks from 2008 through 2010.
There are more than 17 AT&T owned stores in the greater Columbus area. AT&T's products and services are also available at a number of authorized dealer and national retail locations.
