Amazing, I didn't even know the PS2 used RDRam. Sony and Toshiba will use the next gen RDRam as well.

The memory interface, known as "Yellowstone," allows data rates of up to 3.2GHz, which is much faster than conventional DDR (dual data rate) memory technology, according to Rambus.
