GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Dec. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Meijer is taking customer convenience to a whole new level this holiday season by expanding its online holiday offerings -- everything for entertaining to gift-giving to decorating -- to include fresh-cut Fraser fir Christmas trees.
The premium and highly popular holiday home centerpieces started shipping on Thanksgiving Day, and sales have exceeded expectations within the first few days, announced Liwanag Ojala, vice president of e-commerce for the Grand Rapids, Mich.-based retailer.

Shipping costs as low as $25, with the order arriving at their home between five to 11 business days.
