CMS Products Launches Secure USB Flash Drives Manageable by SafeConsole From BlockMaster
IRVINE, Calif., Dec. 07, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- CMS Products, Inc., (http://www.cmsproducts.com) an award-winning developer of disaster recovery and data security products today announced the release of its CE-Secure Vault Series of Secure USB Flash Drives: CE-Secure Vault and Vault FIPS. The acronym FIPS stands for Federal Information Processing Standard.
The CE-Secure Vault series are management-ready secure USB flash drives that feature hardware encryption and full password protection. The solution provides convenient, secure storage while helping customers avoid data loss, data breaches and proves compliance to rules and legislation such as SOX and HIPAA.
CE-Secure Vault is an enterprise-grade solution and Vault FIPS is a government-approved solution that meets the FIPS 140-2 Level 2 requirement of the Federal Information Processing Standard. These products are SafeConsoleReady, they can be used as standalone solutions or may be integrated into a Blockmaster SafeConsole managed environment.
CE-Secure Vault flash drives are hardware-encrypted USB 2.0 flash drives utilizing 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standards (AES) in Cipher Block Chaining (CBC) mode. Additionally they are ruggedized, waterproof, and are assembled in the United States.
SafeConsole is the management standard for secure USB flash drives and offers password management, device configuration, audit for compliance and a host of productivity features that boost the benefit of the drives.
