Bubble Gum Interactive Launches Little Space Heroes, A Free Virtual Universe for Kids and Families
SYDNEY, Dec. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Bubble Gum Interactive, an independent developer of children's games, today announced the launch of Little Space Heroes, a brand new virtual universe for kids and families worldwide.
In this free-to-play story-driven online game, kids create their own hero, strap on their jetpacks, fire up their starjets and blast off on an intergalactic adventure. Featuring character personalisation, solo and team gameplay, pets, quests, player homes and community activities, Little Space Heroes offers an immersive and ever-evolving gaming experience.
Based on original IP, the game is set in a peaceful galaxy that was disturbed by the dastardly Lord Shadowbot, a not-so-evil robot villain with a fear of the dark. Travelling through the universe stealing sources of light, Shadowbot discovers our Heroes galaxy, and steals away the Glows, a curious light emitting creature with amazing powers.
Kids can jump right into the story and create their own Little Space Hero to explore the galaxy with friends in search of Shadowbot and the missing Glows. Along the way kids can also hang out on the home world, make new friends, customise their Hero and Starjet, buy pets, and play a bunch of awesome games and activities including special events.
Little Space Heroes is rated E for Everyone and PEGI OK, and has the Family Friendly Videogames Seal of Approval. Safety is of utmost importance and the game makes use of advanced chat filters and an in-house moderator team who ensures the game is safe and fun for all players.
Little Space Heroes is played in a browser. All that is required to play is a PC or Mac which connected to the internet. The game is free-to-play but those seeking unlimited fun and adventure can upgrade to a premium membership.
Paul Gray, Bubble Gum Interactive Director of Community said, "We've worked tirelessly to create an amazing new social gaming experience that is fun, safe and inclusive. Right from day one we've involved kids and parents and we've received invaluable input from them throughout our recent beta. Now we've finished our beta and we can't wait to see the amazing adventures our players enjoy as they play the full Little Space Heroes experience!"
