Faster CPUs this month

AMD and Intel will be releasing faster chips, finally. Intel will release a 3.2Ghz and AMD with their 400Mhz FSB chip.

Following the launch of its first 800MHz FSB-based P4, running at 3GHz, on April 14, Intel is set to introduce the 2.4, 2.6 and 2.8GHz models on May 21 along with its 865 (Springdale) series chipsets. According to motherboard sources, the chipmaker in fact will announce the 3.2GHz model together as well.
