Nosh List makes it easy for the host to manage the wait list making it unnecessary to rely on paper lists or buzzer systems, and elevates the guest experience by notifying waiting guests via SMS and Call Alerts to their cell phone. "With Nosh List restaurants finally have a way to move their wait list management into the modern age while making diners feel secure in the knowledge that they will be notified conveniently via their cell phone wherever they are when their table is ready," said Craig Walker, CEO, Firespotter Labs. "Restaurants don't need to invest in costly and limited range buzzers and alert systems or depend solely on pencil and paper. The iPad simplifies the host's job and gives the restaurant greater insight into their business."
A fully featured waitlist, Nosh List lets restaurant staff add, seat and remove parties quickly and easily. With Nosh List, when a guest checks in, the host uses an iPad to add name, cell phone number and number of people in the party while also providing an estimated wait time.
"Nosh List has brought organization and efficiency to our wait list while elevating the Umami Burger guest experience," said PJ Patton, General Manager of Umami Burger San Francisco. "Best of all we don't have to worry about tracking text messages because Nosh List offers free unlimited texting and phone calls to patrons."
The host can use color codes to status parties relative to each restaurant's unique wait list policies. Common use of color codes may include call ahead or only seating complete parties, or denote need of a high chair or VIP status. Once a table opens up, the host will use Nosh List to send the guest a text message to let them know that their table is ready. Restaurants can also send a second notification in the form of an automated phone call. When the diners are seated, the host can easily remove them from the list.
Daily analytics will be accessible from any device. Nosh List will make rich analytics available to restaurateurs in future releases of the app.
