Genus Technologies, LLC Extends Leadership in Rich Media Management with Acquisition of VMp® Product Line
MINNEAPOLIS, March 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Minneapolis-based Genus Technologies, an IBM Premier Business Partner, announces its acquisition of the VMp product line from ViewCast subsidiary, Ancept Corporation. With this acquisition, Genus Technologies increases its portfolio of digital asset and video management solutions.
With direct content delivery integration to IBM Web Content Management and IBM Connections, Genus rich media solutions form a highly scalable and versatile foundation for social ECM initiatives. Genus' flagship product, Genus Media Upshot(TM), winner of the IBM Beacon Award for Outstanding Innovative Collaborative Solution, allows users to store rich media once and deliver the media across multiple channels quickly and easily.
