Industry's only enterprise data center rack-level power system combines best of breed cabinet power distribution units with Sentry Power Manager software management solution featuring exclusive SNAP technology
RENO, Nev., March 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Server Technology, experts in producing the highest quality rack mount data center power distribution units and power monitoring solutions, announced today the launch of its new Sentry Power System at DataCenterDynamics (DCD) NYC. Sentry Power System tightly integrates Server Technology's Sentry family of cabinet power distribution units (PDUs) with Sentry Power Manager (SPM) software, through Server Tech's exclusive SNAP technology to create a single system of power. Server Technology will be demonstrating its Sentry Power System at the DCD NYC show today at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square, New York.

Server Technology's SNAP is based upon XML over SSL technology and is included in Sentry CDU hardware and SPM software. SPM software with SNAP provides true "Plug and Play" simple PDU auto discovery, auto configuration, hierarchical change management and auto firmware updates across the network along with all of the award winning capabilities found in previous versions of SPM including power control and state management, advanced reporting and trending, and power and environmental alarming.
