Casio Watches Ambassador Sebastian Vettel Readies Himself for New Season

Race ace Prepares for Season Opener in Melbourne
The 2012 Formula 1 season revs up at the weekend (16-18th March) and once again, Red
Bull Racing driver and Casio Watches ambassador Sebastian Vettel will start the season as
the defending champion.
With the pre-season testing in Barcelona now over, the teams are readying their cars
in preparation for the Melbourne GP.
This season, alongside their watches from the Edifice range, Red Bull are using a
newly designed car, the RB8. However, chief engineer and designer Adrian Newey has quelled
rumours of a radical redesign from the RB7 championship-winning car of 2011.
F1 observers noted that a model was brought in by air from their Milton Keynes base to
replace the RB8 that had been used in early testing. There was much speculation on the
reasons for the changes to the new chassis. However, following testing by the team it has
been suggested that the majority of changes have been carried out to better accommodate
FIA imposed rule changes such as the ban on blown diffusers on exhausts.
One major change that has been made this year is to the car's suspension system. It is
believed that the new design allows air from the newly repositioned exhaust ducts to
influence the aerodynamics of the car. This is used in conjunction with the nose duct at
the front of the body, which acts as a damper, and provides air to cool the drivers.
As you would expect with such a successful team, the first and secondary driver
positions have not been swapped for the new season leaving Casio Watches ambassador
Sebastian Vettel as the lead driver with Webber taking the second slot. At a press
conference earlier in the week, the 24 year old was given a huge confidence boost when F1
Supremo Bernie Ecclestone nominated the Casio Watches

world title.
A win would make the watches [http://www.thewatchhut.co.uk ] loving 'race ace' one of
the greats of the sport. The only drivers who have won more titles would be Juan Manual
who had a run of four consecutive titles in the 1950's and current Mercedes driver Michael
Schumacher who had an incredible run of five titles between 2000 and 2004.
