NHR First Global Stocking Reseller to Offer Menara's Tunable OTN XFP 10Gb/s Transceiver

Network Hardware Resale will extend its network management and services expertise to include all of Menara Network products; specifically, Menara's Full C-Band Tunable XFP and XENPAK 10Gb/s Transceivers with integrated Forward Error Correction (FEC) and Optical Transport Network (OTN), a first of its kind, patented technology. The high performance transceiver enables a network signal to travel up to 1,200 kilometers in an amplified DWDM network and is tunable across the full C-Band. With fully integrated FEC & OTN, Menara Networks XFPs and XENPAKs eliminate the need for stand-alone transport network elements such as DWDM transponders and the associated short reach optics. This simplified architecture provides significant operating and capital cost savings enabling network providers to cost-effectively grow their 10G networks.
