Delivery.com(TM) Offers foursquare® Restaurant Check-Ins When Ordering
First Online Ordering Service to Allow Check-Ins at Check Out
NEW YORK, April 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Delivery.com, an e-commerce platform that enables users to order from local restaurants and stores, announced the integration of the foursquare API, allowing customers to check in to businesses when they place an online order. The new foursquare integration is designed to enable users to check in when they order on Delivery.com, sort results by check-ins, as well as read and write tips. The integration will also include user-submitted photos, so Delivery.com users can view pictures of restaurants and dishes taken by foursquare users.

Beyond being able to check in when they order online, Delivery.com users can also use the foursquare integration to find popular places in their neighborhoods by sorting Delivery.com's network of restaurants, grocers, wine and liquor shops, and pet stores by the number of check-ins. Users can simply click "Check-ins" to see the restaurants and stores near them with the most foursquare user activity.
