Goliath Film and Media Holdings announces streaming site to be launched
LOS ANGELES, April 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Goliath Film and Media Holdings (OTC Bulletin Board: GFMH) announces that it plans to go online with its streaming site in May 2012. The Company's recently acquired 1500 educational videos will then be available to school districts, private schools and international licensees. Yesterday, the Company announced that NBA legend AC Green has been appointed as director of the Company's Educational Division. Having the educational videos online will facilitate immediate sales and revenues for the Company.
In addition, the Company's existing feature motion picture film library, as well as other properties being acquired, will also be available online commencing in May. Goliath is formulating at this time the parameters of its subscription program. Its competitor Netflix offers a $7.99 per month plan; Amazon Prime (with about 5,000 films) costs $79 per year, or about $6.58 a month. Goliath plans to fill the niche markets of faith based, education, responsible minority content, and budget horror, and plans in the next few months to add hundreds of feature motion pictures, and thousands in the next 12 to 18 months. Goliath intends to offer an introductory subscription price much lower than its competitors in order to attract subscribers.
