A10 Networks Announces Application Delivery Certification and Expanded Training Course Availability

New AX Series Certification Hones Individual IT Skillsets to Accelerate, Optimize and Secure Mission Critical Applications

SAN JOSE, Calif., May 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- A10 Networks(TM), the technology leader in Application Networking, today announced it has expanded the training program for its AX Series Application Delivery Controllers (ADCs) to include a new certification program and more frequent courses. Upon completion of the three-day AX Series training course, customers now have the option for a web-based certification test to achieve A10 Certified Application Delivery Engineer (CADE) status. Achieving A10's specialized certification demonstrates competence in configuring and managing AX Series appliances, which include a wide range of Application Delivery solutions for data center servers and applications.

Due to the explosive growth of Internet traffic, applications and connected devices, the Application Delivery Networking market is poised for rapid growth. If an application is slow or unavailable, or an Internet connection or server goes down, business productivity and profits can be lost. As a result, professionals with certified Application Delivery Controller expertise are in high demand to ensure a positive, high performance, highly available and secure end user application and Internet experience.

"A10's AX Series Application Delivery Controllers are powerful appliances used by thousands of customers to solve critical business challenges for hundreds of applications," said Tony Griffen, Training Manager for A10 Networks. "With our expanded training frequency and new certification program, A10 offers customers world-class education and labs to ensure their mission critical applications are fully optimized through the proper deployment of our AX Series."

A10's training certification program rolled out in January 2012 with trials completing in April. As a result of increased demand for certified AX specialists, A10 has more than doubled the frequency for its San Jose, CA-based training courses, which include an instructor lead class combined with hands-on labs. A10 also offers off-site training at customers' facilities on demand.

"Customer training and support are very important to A10 as we continue to gain worldwide market share for our AX Series," said Lee Chen, Founder and CEO for A10 Networks. "We now offer certification for all customers who complete our comprehensive corporate training course, bringing knowledge benefits to organizations with certified application delivery engineers and professional achievement to those that are certified."

The new AX Series certification is now available, delivering peace of mind to organizations with staff who have deployed AX to benefit any application such as Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, Lync, IIS and Windows Server Terminal Services; VMware View Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), vSphere, vCenter and VMotion; IBM WebSphere; Oracle WebLogic; Blackboard Learn and many more. Additional select locations will also offer A10's training and certification worldwide.
