Beat the Traffic's radically improved API allows media companies to seamlessly integrate real-time traffic conditions and forecasts into their own websites. Available as a co-branded or white label solution, Beat the Traffic's API allows companies to provide an extraordinarily thorough picture of travel conditions in their local areas, along with local roadwork and route closures, average travel speeds, estimated trip times, live camera views and traffic alerts.
Beat the Traffic will also be exhibiting its suite of mobile traffic solutions for consumers, including the enormously popular Beat the Traffic 2.0 for the iOS. Featuring a complete redesign and greatly enhanced traffic coverage, Beat the Traffic 2.0 lets travelers create and save their favorite routes through MyRoutes, a personalized, door-to-door traffic reporting tool that automatically notifies users - via text message or email - when road conditions change. Also on display will be Drivee, Beat the Traffic's new "eco-driving" iPhone app that evaluates a driver's performance and impact on the environment by measuring fuel usage characteristics.
"Transportation technology is advancing at a blistering pace, which is just one reason why the Telematics show a must-attend event," said Andre Gueziec, CEO of Triangle Software LLC d.b.a. Beat the Traffic®. "We're looking forward to being in the automotive capital of the universe and learning from visionaries in the world of telematics, and we're tremendously proud to share our newest API and mobile solutions, which are revolutionizing the way our customers think about road travel."
Beat the Traffic's appearance at Telematics Detroit 2012 comes on the heels of the company being named to the Red Herring Top 100 Americas list, which honors up-and-coming firms that have demonstrated true market leadership, unique business models and technological innovation. Past honorees have included Facebook, Google, Salesforce, Twitter and YouTube among other current market leaders in the technology and life sciences industries.
Held at the Suburban Collection Showcase in Novi, Michigan, Telematics Detroit will feature more than 1,800 executive attendees and more than 100 industry pioneer speakers, including representatives from the world's leading automotive manufacturers. Beat the Traffic will be exhibiting its solutions at Booth # 50.
