Anvia Adopts Teleste Technology to Provide Multi-Screen Services

COLOGNE, Germany, June 12, 2012/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --

FINNISH TV OPERATOR ENHANCES SERVICE OFFERING

WITH A MULTI-SCREEN SOLUTION BY TELESTE

Teleste Corporation, a leading technology and engineering service provider of
broadband video and service platforms, and Anvia, a national TV operator in Finland,
announced the launch of a multi-screen solution for Anvia's digital TV network.

Anvia has a reputation for being an advanced TV service provider with a
state-of-the-art service portfolio. As a forerunner in adopting new technologies and
services, Anvia has now decided to take another step to further expand its portfolio of TV
services. This has created the need for a carrier-class, multi-screen solution enabling
multipurpose functionality and high-quality video.

"Our customers expect premium-class services when it comes to the quality of the video
content itself and the sophisticated functionality of the video provision infrastructure,"
said Mrs Pirjo Haavisto, content director for Anvia TV. "Our strategy is designed to meet
their expectations and we have noticed that our customers appreciate the choices we have
made. Teleste's multi-screen solution is the perfect tool for us to execute our strategy
as planned and deliver what our customers value most."

Teleste's multi-screen solution is the perfect supplement to the existing and
well-received Teleste headend equipment portfolio. The Teleste Luminato is a cutting-edge,
full-featured headend solution optimised to provide conventional video services to
television sets in the most efficient way possible. The new multi-screen solution
complements Teleste's existing offering by adding the possibility to deliver video
services to almost any video-enabled consumer device, including game consoles and mobile
devices. The solution adheres to Teleste's strict standards for professional quality and
exceptional reliability, which makes it a perfect match for tier 1 cable TV operators
while also meeting Telcos' requirements.

"We are thrilled to have Anvia as one of the first customers for our multi-screen
solution. This represents a great start for us and proves that we can meet the high
requirements set by one of the leading cable TV operators in the mature Finnish digital TV
market," states Mr Juha Kangas, product manager at Teleste. "We are proud that our headend
solution has been well received by the operators, and I'm glad to notice that we are
continuing on the successful track with the multi-screen solution."
