LG Electronics Launches LG QuickMemo, Innovative New Capture, Comment And Share Feature, For LG Smartphones
New Stylus-Free Feature, Available First on LG Viper 4G LTE from Sprint, Delivers More Personalized Sharing, Commenting, Connectivity
SAN DIEGO, July 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- LG Electronics USA today announced the U.S. launch of LG QuickMemo(TM), an innovative new way to capture, comment and share content in today's connected world.
People who own the LG Viper(TM) 4G LTE smartphone will be the first in the United States to experience the LG QuickMemo feature, which offers drawing and editing capabilities without a stylus. LG QuickMemo gives users the ability to personalize messages and share comments across a wide range of content including web pages, digital magazines, photos and more - all with a simple swipe of your finger.
LG QuickMemo will be available for LG Viper 4G LTE on July 16, and on additional LG mobile devices later this year. Consumers who have already purchased LG Viper 4G LTE will be able to download LG QuickMemo as part of a software update through an on-screen prompt.
LG QuickMemo takes a smartphone experience to a new level by letting users express themselves in fun, original ways, capturing screenshots of any content - such as map directions to a party or photos of friends - and add their own commentary by simply using a finger to create personalized, handwritten messages and drawings. Screenshots can then easily be shared on social media platforms, via text message or e-mail.

The LG Viper 4G LTE features a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, mobile hotspot capabilities, a sleek, bright, 4-inch touchscreen with a Corning® Gorilla® Glass screen protector and a 4GB card microSD(TM) slot that supports up to 32GB. It also includes a 5MP rear-facing camera with flash and VGA front-facing camera allowing for a fun and easy face-to-face video chat experience. Enabled with Near Field Communication (NFC), the LG Viper 4G LTE allows users to access true value features such as Google Wallet, an app that allows payment using a mobile device at participating retailers, including Bloomingdales, Toys "R" Us, CVS, Gap and Macy's.
In addition, consumers can download Box on the LG Viper 4G LTE and receive 50GB of free cloud storage, an estimated $240 annual value, plenty of room for their favorite music, photos and other files.
