ALPHARETTA, Ga., July 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless today announced it is bringing the nation's largest 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network to Columbus, GA in the coming weeks. With the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network, customers can enjoy the best experience in wireless data usage when they use their 4G LTE wireless devices in Columbus to surf the Web, stream music and video, take advantage of thousands of applications, and stay in touch with family and friends, all with speeds up to 10 times faster than before.
When Verizon Wireless turns on its 4G LTE network in Columbus, customers in the commercial, downtown and residential areas of the city, including Columbus State University, Corporate Ridge Industrial Park, downtown Phenix City and Smiths Station will have access to the nation's fastest 4G network.
