HEX Unleashes its Inner Ninja with the Launch of Stealth

iPhone 4/4S Case Lets Users Tap-to-Pay with a Subtle Swipe

OXNARD, Calif., July 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- HEX, known for developing award-winning fashionable techcessories, is staying true to its "glamour to gadgets and substance to style" mantra, by introducing Stealth, an iPhone 4/4S case that not only offers protection of the phone, but acts as an easy way to make contactless tap purchases.

On the outside, the Stealth is a slim, attractive case that protects the iPhone. On the inside, thoughtful and forward-thinking engineering reveals a patent-pending shielded internal storage compartment. The shielded compartment houses any RFID-enabled card so users can make contactless tap purchases via RFID transmissions at any participating tap-to-pay location, including subways, rapid transit, restaurants, and gas stations, and participating retail locations. It also keeps the iPhone and the RFID-enabled card functioning properly with no cross-interference. No RFID card? No problem. The storage compartment can also be used to hold extra cash, I.D. or a metro card.

"Tap-to-pay continues to be adopted at locations and services we use every day, particularly in major cities globally," said Dan Maravilla, co-founder, HEX. "The Stealth case is a sleek way for people to use contactless payment, and really for anyone who wants their iPhone case to do more than just protect. The Stealth is a great option for those looking to travel light by opting to leave their wallet at home."

Made of a polycarbonate material, the Stealth case comes in two colors, matte black and gloss white. In addition to its multi-tasking protection and storage features, the case also includes a camera hole for anytime, anywhere picture taking, along with corner bumpers to keep the phone's screen from making contact from the surface it is set on.

Stealth is available now for purchase at http://www.shophex.com and Apple, retailing for $34.95. To check-out the Stealth in action, be sure to watch this video.
