Antenova Adds Rubra A10393 Cellular Penta-band SMD Antenna to gigaNOVA(R) Range of Standard Antennas

CAMBRIDGE, England, August 6, 2012/PRNewswire/ --

Announces Halogen-free Rubra penta-band antenna provides high efficiency and

                         robust performance for M2M Applications

Antenova Ltd, the integrated antenna and RF solutions company, announced the addition
of Rubra A10393 cellular penta-band SMD antenna to the market leading gigaNOVA(R) range of
surface mount standard antennas. Designed for ease of integration into wireless devices,
Rubra is ideally suited for an extensive range of embedded cellular applications such
tablets, tracking devices, femto base stations, remote monitoring and other M2M
applications.

"Antenova continues to enjoy increasing demand for high performing and easy to
integrate standard cellular antennas for the ever expanding embedded wireless and M2M
markets," stated Greg McCray, CEO of Antenova. "Rubra A10393 is a high performing cellular
penta-band antenna incorporating Antenova's patented Magnetic Dipole Antenna (MDA)
technology which provides robust and reliable performance across all device applications,
which is particularly essential for many M2M devices which are typically in situ for 5 to
10 years. Antenova's standard penta-band antennas offer design flexibility with the ease
of integration benefits of a surface mountable device, making them very attractive to
module makers targeting the growing M2M markets and device manufacturers looking to add
cellular connectivity into their products. Rubra has already been integrated into a
cellular module reference design with the SIMCom SIM900 module."

Rubra A10393 is a high efficiency penta-band cellular SMD antenna suitable for GSM,
GPRS and UMTS applications and covers the GSM850/900/1800/1900 and WCDMA frequencies.
Rubra's MDA structure provides excellent resistance to de-tuning and offers predictable
performance in customer devices. Rubra A10315 is a compact 40x10.4x3.2 mm[3] size antenna
intended for surface mounting and requires minimal ground plane. Made from low cost
halogen-free FR4 substrate material, Rubra is supplied in tape on reel and available for
volume purchase through Antenova's global network of leading distributors and agents.
