FREDERICK, Md., Aug. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- AXIOM Systems Inc. (AXIOM), the Healthcare IT Industry Experts, today announced the release of real time eligibility enhancements to its ClaimShuttle(TM) product simplifying HIPAA eCommerce for all Healthcare Constituents.

With the release of real time eligibility connectivity to the CMS HIPAA Eligibility Transaction System (HETS) clients will be able to generate and view Part A, Part B, Medicare Advantage, and Part D eligibility and benefit requests and responses in a simple to use web browser interface.  General availability is scheduled for September 1, 2012 with further enhancements and connections beyond Medicare being available in Q4 2012 including, the ability to import patient lists, submit batches, and integrate with existing computerized billing systems through a secure web service.

ClaimShuttle(TM) provides simple, secure, connectivity to all CMS Medicare Contractors using military grade encryption and Internet connections. Clients currently send claims and receive and view remittances and acknowledgements using an intuitive web browser interface or have the option to automate the process using other connectivity protocols. ClaimShuttle(TM) also provides access to Medicare Enterprise Data Center (EDC) applications including FISS/DDE, PPTN and CSI. 

Current ClaimShuttle(TM) clients will be able to utilize the eligibility capabilities at no extra cost with eligibility requests counting towards their generous transaction tier bands.
