Ubee Announces Next Generation Advanced Wireless Gateway
DENVER, Aug. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Ubee Interactive Corp is pleased to announce the availability of our new next generation DOCSIS 3.0 advanced wireless gateway. The new Ubee DVW365(x) wireless cable gateway is one of the first on the market to implement both Full-Band Capture Diagnostics features and functionality and power amplified WiFi in a production ready device.
Full-Band Capture (FBC) is a break-through technology eliminating the traditional tuner concept associated with previous cable modem single chip SoC designs by allowing for a direct conversion of the complete 1GHz spectrum. This technology removes channel lineup limitations and provides a flexible deployment-friendly solution utilizing any channel in the downstream spectrum.
Ubee's next-generation DOCSIS 3.0 wireless gateway adds an important new diagnostics feature allowing cable operators to remotely view the entire spectrum from both their network and also on the device itself. This advanced spectrum analyzer allows for non-intrusive remote analysis of weak signals, interference, tilt and other sub-optimal performance parameters to help reduce service costs.
Additionally, Ubee's new gateways, available with and without voice integration, are benefited by having enhanced wireless capabilities in both uplink and downlink directions that have proven to increase WiFi coverage by an average of 50%.
